Meeting Information

The Food Policy Council Meets:
The second Wednesday of each month from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Meetings provide an opportunity for members to:

  • Collaborate on food access initiatives.

  • Share updates from organizations across Gaston County.

  • Identify community needs and solutions.

  • Support projects that strengthen the local food system.

Our Mission

The Gaston County Food Policy Council works to create a healthier, more equitable, and sustainable food system for all residents of Gaston County. Through collaboration, advocacy, education, and community partnerships the Council addresses food insecurity and promotes policies and programs that improve access to healthy, affordable food.
