Gaston Comprehensive Transportation Plan
Gaston County, in collaboration with the Gaston-Cleveland-Lincoln Metropolitan Planning Organization (GCLMPO) and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), is currently in the process of updating its County-wide Multimodal Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP). The CTP identifies potential enhancements for all modes of transportation including highways, bicycles, pedestrians, and transit. Additionally, the proposed recommendations included in the CTP are not restricted by cost and are not prioritized. The CTP analyzes the transportation system over the next 25 to 30 years and shows proposed improvements.
